Military Edc - This is my current EDC deployment weapon. I am abroad and this is all the equipment that is part of my daily commitment. My EDC is always changing and this is my current lineup for 2019. I've linked most of the gear below if you want to check it out.
The country I'm in is safe and not considered a combat zone, so you'll find that my gear isn't what you'd think for deployment. I work in an airport every day and these are the things that have helped me the most for my situation.

Some of you may agree with these points and that's not okay, here's what I personally found worked for me.

The Spartan Blades Phrike is a fixed blade knife that I carried in a scout carry kit. I had the choice between a nylon sheath or a Kydex sheath when I bought this knife and I chose the Kydex sheath.
It's a great fixed blade made from S35VN steel and frozen to achieve the perfect hardness for that steel. I also chose the olive green G10 handles with the black blade. The blade length is 4.25″ and is the perfect size for an EDC fixed knife.
The Blade-Tech Tek-Lok is gear that everyone should have. I've always heard how great they are, but never picked one up until recently. It's a great way to secure gear to your belt or even molle webbing.
I use it to attach my fixed blade to my belt and it fits very well. Before I used the Tek-Lok I felt my blade shift and bounce when I walked, but now it doesn't move at all.

This knife is pretty good for the price. It is a lightweight folder that comes in D2 steel with a black stone wash. It is a very good knife with G10 brown handles. When it comes to a folding knife, there are so many good options, but this is exactly the one I use. I found this knife in a donation box and decided to take it with me on my deployment to test it out. It's nothing fancy, but it works for me and my use.
Actually, I've had the Spyderco Para 3, Spyderco Paramilitary 2, and the Benchmade Adamas with me since I've been here, but I've carried the ABKT map most of the time.
I've been a big fan of Streamlight for a long time and I love this little flashlight. It is small and comes with a simple nylon belt pouch to carry it in. There are also three modes
The Protac 1L uses a single CR123 battery that delivers 110 lumens high and 12 lumens low. The battery lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes on the high setting and 14 hours on the low setting. It's a great little lightweight that's perfect for EDC.

This clock is simple and has a very sleek design. It has a classic look with the dark green canvas strap and black dial. This clock is powered by light. It uses Eco-Drive, which means you never need batteries, which is a big factor.
The watch face is very streamlined. The large dial has numbers and luminous hands and markers that make it very easy to see. It has an analogue day/date and also has a 12/24 hour time function. The watch is comfortable to wear and very sturdy. It is water resistant and also has a built-in calendar. It is a great EDC watch in my opinion and is perfect, especially for those in the military.
So I actually have a fake sippo on this deployment. I have a real one at home, but I didn't take it because I thought it would be confiscated by customs. I bought this fake from a local at the market.
It works great and it was cheap so I said why not and bought it. Some people may not need a lighter, but even if you don't smoke, a lighter is still something you'll want to carry with you or at least throw one in your purse.

Internet access in the Middle East is not as easy as it is in the US. Thanks to the Sapphire WiFi box, I can still connect to the rest of the world. I can take it anywhere and still be able to connect my phone and laptop to wifi. I also use this to connect to my PS4 and play online games and it works well.
Sometimes the internet is a bit slow when streaming videos, but it usually works well. Also, the prices are quite good, especially in the country where I am currently. The internet is essential in today's world and while using it it helps keep me safe.
A good multi tool, in my opinion, is essential for anyone in the military during a deployment, especially a mechanic. I am a supporter of Leatherman's and I believe they make a better multi tool compared to other brands.
The Leatherman M.U.T. I have. designed more like an AR-15/M4 multi-tool, but works fine for my needs as a mechanic. It's strong and durable and looks really cool too, because everyone knows how important that is.

The R.A.E. Gear holster is a nice piece of kit that makes carrying my leather man easier. My multi-tool came with a nylon sheath, which is good, but when I wore it on my belt, it felt quite soft. It would move up and down and was not very secure in one place.
The nylon sheath is easier to attach to a battle belt or plate carrier than to a regular belt. The R.A.E. Gear holster solved this problem. It is a steel sheath for my multi-tool and specially made for my leatherman model. It also keeps my multi-tool closer to my body and protrudes less.
I don't carry money anymore and I notice that a big wallet is often difficult and most people with a big wallet carry a lot of things they don't really need. The Popov leather wallet has a minimalist design and allows me to comfortably carry my ID cards and credit cards.
It's very simple and it's very good in my opinion. Since most guys carry their wallets in their back pockets, a thinner leather wallet is usually a better choice because it's more comfortable. This wallet is great for someone who wants a simple and slim wallet.

. This is just a razor that can be easily carried on a key chain. It's small and light and doesn't look intimidating. With this I always have a knife with me, even in places I'm not technically allowed to. People will see it and have no idea what it is.
The Gil-Tek RUK is a smart way to carry a knife with you, even if you forgot your knife that day. This item is probably an EDC item for civilians. Imagine that it would be more useful for everyday use for someone who doesn't want to carry a large pocket knife or even a small knife.
One item I almost forgot to include on this list was my eye protection. It is very sunny and dusty here, so good eye protection is essential. I found an ophthalmologist before I came here, but I wanted one that looked cooler. I have spent my entire deployment so far on the Wiley X Valors.
They are a little scratched and beat up, but I can still look good and still protect my eyes. The Wiley X Valors don't offer the same amount of protection as the ones I've released, but they look a lot better in my opinion. They also come with a clear lens that is very easy to change.
